"The record takes it's name from the narrative of French symbolist poet, Arthur Rimbaud, and if the album had a theme, it would be Rimbaud. "Lyrically, the [album] is a narratological cohesion of my life and the life that was his" - Nicholas. Musically, the ten-song debut release from Personal Issue is a pop-opus, a wayward cry for a craft almost lost. It is a harkening back to the post-punk meanderings of Lawrence and Maurice; to a time when Martin Newell held fast to his four-track in East Anglia."
